Thankful for #ConnectingTN & Building Close Relationships

Posted: November 17, 2023

Hello and happy Thanksgiving! To me, it seems so strange to see holiday decorations already adorning stores, and it’s hard to get my head around the fact that another year has nearly passed.

With the end of the year in sight, our associate members are slowing down on their conference/trade show attendance, and everyone has a chance to catch a collective breath. It’s a time to look back on successes and look forward to the opportunities we will have to work together to maintain connectivity across our great state. The fiber broadband our members bring to communities that wouldn’t otherwise have it is often a lifeline for residents and small businesses. With the holiday lull, I’m hoping you might have a little extra time to check out the wonderful Success Stories about how our members are helping those living and working in their service areas.

Even as most of us take a well-deserved rest over the holidays, I know we’re looking forward to 2024 and all the promise it brings. The Tennessee General Assembly is set to reconvene in early January, and our annual Day on the Hill is already on the calendar. And, although the TNBA June conference and showcase in Franklin, Tennessee, may seem far away, it’ll be here before we know it. Our 2024 conference committee will start meeting for that event soon. Watch your email for an invite to serve on the committee.

Stay tuned for news and info on the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program, the Affordable Connectivity Program, and broadband label deadlines. I’ll be back with updates and timelines as information rolls in as we continue #ConnectingTN! And please, take time to rest and enjoy time spent with those around your Thanksgiving table.

We truly have so much to be thankful for!
