TNBA Joins Tennessee Business Forum

Posted: July 25, 2022

Launched in January 2022, the Tennessee Business Forum connects business leaders and policymakers to focus on how national issues impact Tennesseans.

“Through this group we’re able to get to know one another and find opportunities to work on projects. It’s another way to collaborate together to serve Tennessee,” says Tennessee Broadband Association (TNBA) Executive Director Carrie Huckeby.

By connecting executives from various industries, the Tennessee Business Forum helps business leaders discuss a broad range of national legislative and regulatory issues with stakeholders and policymakers.

The Tennessee Business Forum was created with 14 founding partners, including Ballad Health, Eastman Chemical Company, Pinnacle Financial Partners, TruGreen and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The Tennessee Business Forum is led by political adviser Bess McWherter and facilitated by The Ingram Group, a strategic consulting firm with ties to Nashville and Washington, D.C.

“Our mission is simple,” says McWherter. “We work to connect leaders in the nation’s capital for collaboration and robust dialogue around shared concerns related to legislative and regulatory issues that impact the business, education and nonprofit sectors.”
