Residential customers will now have access to fiber broadband
Brinkley, Arkansas, residents will soon connect through 100% fiber high-speed internet service from RightFiber by Ritter Communications.
After investing more than a half-million dollars to offer its current fiber services to Brinkley businesses, Ritter will now expand its network to local residential customers with help from a $2.2 million Arkansas Rural Connect (ARC) grant. The ARC grant is funded by the American Rescue Plan and existing state resources.
“We’re dedicated to delivering high-quality, high-speed, and reliable broadband internet services to the rural communities of Arkansas,” said CEO Alan Morse. “We’re grateful Gov. Hutchinson is committed to bridging the digital divide in Arkansas with ARC grant support.”
Construction is underway, and residential services could be available as soon as mid-2022.
“Fast, reliable broadband internet service is a necessity in today’s world,” said Brinkley Mayor Gary Henard. “We’re confident Ritter is delivering the most advanced telecommunications solutions to our community, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them as a new neighbor.”
