Jackson helps spur company’s rapid growth

Since joining United Communications as chief financial officer in 2016, Jackson contributed to the company’s rapid growth by leading financial, regulatory, information technology, and human resources initiatives.

Now, barely five years later, she’s been recognized as a top CFO in the Music City and winner of the Nashville Business Journal’s 2021 CFO award in the small private company category.

“We really appreciate her top-notch finance skills, but it’s her insight and strategic vision that continue to drive growth and financial vitality for United,” says William Bradford, president and CEO of United Communications.

Jackson’s guidance has been integral during United’s recent expansion, including the acquisition of Athena Broadband, a partnership with Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation, and the fiber asset acquisition of Crystal Clear Technologies. She’s also helped ensure United customers have access to high-speed internet through grant funding.

“I’m lucky to do what I love at an organization that cares for our customers and our employees, and this award is truly a recognition of my entire team more so than just me,” says Jackson.
