Move boosts engineering capabilities
JSI, a communications consulting firm headquartered in Greenbelt, Maryland, recently announced it has acquired Mid-State Consultants, an engineering firm based in Nephi, Utah. Both firms are TNBA members.
The new acquisition will benefit JSI in its efforts to boost its engineering capabilities and work with clients to take advantage of funding resources to build and maintain broadband networks.
“We’re very pleased to see JSI is expanding their presence through the acquisition of Mid-State Consultants,” says Levoy Knowles, TNBA executive director. “This partnership will help the operations of both companies and their customers in the rural telecommunications industry.”
Through existing relationships with more than 750 communications entities, JSI provides financial, engineering, management, operational, regulatory, and strategic consulting services to providers across the U.S.
“Our clients now have access to more services and solutions for broadband technology, regulatory and business know-how,” JSI CEO Tasos Tsolakis says. “The broadband industry’s future is bright, and JSI is well-positioned to support our clients every step of the way.”
