Remote Conference Showcases Broadband Technology

As broadband providers, we understand the vital role technology plays in the lives of those we serve. Especially during the ongoing health pandemic, when access to broadband means the difference between having the option to work or study remotely and being unable to do your job or falling behind in school.

Because what we do is so vital to the people we serve, we increased our safety protocols and changed the way we interact with the public, while still giving customers the service they count on in their daily lives. Tennessee Broadband Association (TNBA) members have shown resilience during this time. They have remained flexible and have adapted to meet all challenges.

But a global pandemic doesn’t negate our need to learn from one another or hear from industry leaders about the many things happening in the world of telecommunications. The annual Kentucky Telecom Association (KTA)/TNBA conference is an excellent opportunity for this, and we don’t intend to allow the pandemic to prevent us from learning and growing. That’s why we will use the technology we promote every day to connect remotely.

The conference is scheduled for Oct. 14-15. We have tons of great speakers and breakout topics planned to give you plenty of information to improve the way we serve our members. Keynote speakers include Ajit Pai, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, Shirley Bloomfield and Mike Romano of NTCA.

There will be plenty of industry news as well as information about broadband partnerships, storytelling, and managing employee and customer safety. Breakout sessions will cover emerging technologies, finance, human resources, optimizing sales, understanding your customer, and much more.
